The audience that my magazine is trying to attract is the same as a Kerrang magazine is trying to attract. They would be around 16-20 years old on average. They would mainly be male, but a lot more females would also buy the magazine to. They would be British and as they are young they wouldn’t be married. Perhaps have a boyfriend/girlfriend. The social status would probably be around C/C1 but that could vary as well. Working class people would be able to afford the magazine and as the magazine could be seen as being quite rebellious and working class people are seen as being rebellious. Their lifestyle subsets are Goth’s or Emo’s like I said before. My magazine is totally based on these people. It doesn’t try to sell any other products in the magazines. The only other advertisements that would be involved in my magazine would be for music festivals and gigs.
